Firefighters in Barbados are a bit hot under the collar.
The officers say they are far from happy with the decision to base them in outfitted containers after the demolition of their headquarters on Probyn Street in The City in the coming months.
Sources, who requested anonymity, said it was not good enough, but Minister of Home Affairs Edmund Hinkson said it was way too early to be upset.
“They’re not moving tomorrow and when they do move, I’m sure everything will be in place in relation to health and safety and the laws of Barbados. I don’t see how anyone can make an assessment on what they see today [when they do not know what is going to happen]. . .” (CA)
