Government is warning business people against trying to get ahead of its plan to legalise marijuana for medicinal purposes.
And those who are smoking marijuana are being reminded that it remains illegal.
The caution has come from Minister of Health and Wellness Jeffrey Bostic, who revealed yesterday that a number of medical cannabinoids have had to be confiscated.
“I have been made aware that there are already stores in Bridgetown selling these products, but I will issue a warning this week. And after that, we will enforce the law in its fullest to ensure that such persons come to a Christian understanding of right and wrong. The laws are not to be broken,” he declared.
